Pet Bio: Meet Frankie! This handsome, roughly 2-year-old bully mix was found abandoned and tied to a fence in a Detroit alley before being rescued by MACS staff. Frankie is heartworm positive and has already started treatment here at MACS, with the cost of his treatment covered by MACS. He is a loving, energetic goofball who believes he’s the perfect lap dog even if his size says otherwise! Once his treatment is complete, Frankie would thrive with an active, dog-savvy owner and older, mature children. He enjoys other dogs but needs a sturdy canine friend who can match his enthusiastic play style. We’re unsure how he would do with cats. If you’re looking for a big, lovable hunk with an even bigger personality, Frankie may be your perfect match!
