Pet Bio: Meet Chloe. She’s just 2½ years old—spayed, mixed breed, and until recently, she had never known a world outside of her little family bubble. Tragically, Chloe lost everything in the blink of an eye. The only human she ever knew—her entire world—was taken from her in a devastating tragedy. Along with her person, Chloe also lost her beloved fur parents. In an instant, her whole life disappeared. Thanks to the incredible network of animal lovers and supporters, Chloe made her way to us at the Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society (MACS). One of our devoted staff members opened their home to her, offering a safe place to heal. Since then, Chloe has been slowly learning to trust again. Each day she comes out of her shell a little more. Her spirit, though shaken, is still there—gentle, sweet, and longing for love. She just needs time, patience, and someone willing to see the beauty beneath the sadness. Her adoption fee has already been paid for, thanks to one of our amazing sponsors. Now all she needs is the right person—someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, who will help her continue to heal, grow her confidence, and give her the love she so deeply deserves.
